Significant severe weather outbreak Friday
The Strom Prediction Center has upgraded portions of the Enhanced Risk area to a Moderate Risk for severe weather including all modes of severe weather. Damaging winds is the driving factor of the upgrade, however large hail up to 3.5 inches in diameter is possible along with tornadoes, some of which could be strong. Though convection is possible in the morning across portions of the Ohio Valley, the atmosphere is expected to recover and another round of storms is expected to develop in the at afternoon and evening. Due to the multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms, a Slight Risk of flooding has been issued.
Severe Weather Outlook
A severe weather outbreak is possible this afternoon and evening with less coverage. Tomorrow a severe weather outbreak with all modes is expected to be widespread. Rounds of clustered showers and thunderstorms are expected with all modes of severe weather is possible.

Historic April Flood 4/4/25
Here is a photo gallery I took of a few places in Kentucky that has been experiencing flooding the past few days. I have photos and videos below from Elizabethtown, Boston, and Springfield. This may possible be the most water I have seen in my area during my lifetime.
The pictures below include images of the Beech Fork River and Cartwright Creek flooding.
