The Strom Prediction Center has upgraded portions of the Enhanced Risk area to a Moderate Risk for severe weather including all modes of severe weather. Damaging winds is the driving factor of the upgrade, however large hail up to 3.5 inches in diameter is possible along with tornadoes, some of which could be strong. Though convection is possible in the morning across portions of the Ohio Valley, the atmosphere is expected to recover and another round of storms is expected to develop in the at afternoon and evening. Due to the multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms, a Slight Risk of flooding has been issued.
